The GP 2014i is a complete unit, including 2 grinder pumps with check / anti-siphon valves, tank, and all necessary controls packaged into a single unit, ready to connect.
All solids are ground into fine particles to pass easily through the pump, discharge assembly and small diameter reticulation pipe lines, even objects that should not be found in sewage (plastic, rubber, fiber, wood, etc.). The 32mm discharge connection can be adapted to any piping materials that meet local code requirements.
The tank is made of corrosion-resistant Fiberglass Reinforced Polyester (FRP). The wet-well configuration provides maximum flexibility to optimise the tank capacity to suit local conditions.
A single GP 2014i, 1.0 meter diameter station, can easily accommodate the sewage flow from 4 to 12 single family homes ,or depending on the maximum instantaneous flow, up to 12,000 liters per day. Consult factory for applications involving more then four connections.
A GP 2014i, 1.5 meter diameter station, can accommodate 6 to 20 single family homes, or up to 20,000 liters per day depending on maximum instantaneous flow. Consult factory for applications involving more then six connections.
The internal check valve assembly, located in each Grinder Pump, is custom designed for non-clog, trouble-free operation.
The Grinder Pump is automatically activated by a specially designed level control system that is impervious to grease fouling. Because the pump runs infrequently for very short periods, the annual energy consumption for a single family home is typically that of a 40-watt light bulb.
