COLONIE, N.Y., 25 April 2003 - Environment One Corporation, in conjunction with WNYT-TV , the NBC affiliate in Albany, N.Y., is sponsoring an Earth Day Recycling event on Saturday, April 26 from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. at Heritage Park in the Town of Colonie. This support continues a tradition of Earth Day participation by E/One since the inaugural event in 1970 in New York City.
- Participation: Capital District reisdents (excluding VT and MA residents) will be asked to contact their local town official to receive a coupon that will entitle them to participate by bringing a maximum of three difference electronic devices for disposal. This allows for each town or city to know their monetary involvement for this project. Under normal circumstances, residents would have to pay the disposal cost, but for this one day, we will coordinate efforts for our communities to keep all costs at a minimum.
