ENVIRONMENT ONE WINS $2.1 MILLION CONTRACT

E/One Sewer to Protect Ohio State Park

NISKAYUNA, NY -- (02/09/1998; 0930)(EIS) -- Environment One Corporation (NASDAQ:EONE) has received the notice of award for Rocky Fork Lake Sanitary Sewage Works improvements in Highland County, Ohio. The E/One Sewer Systems components, shipping this year, are valued at over $2.1 million, according to company president and CEO Stephen V. Ardia.

More than one thousand homes on the northern and eastern shores of Rocky Fork Lake have septic tanks, many of which have been fouling the water resource serving Rocky Fork State Park; the E/ONE Sewer solution will help eliminate unsanitary conditions in the area. "Wide-spread septic tank failures around the nation are becoming a greater concern to small communities every day, and the E/ONE Sewer continues to emerge as the most cost-effective solution to the very serious public health issues posed by these septic tank time bombs," said Mr. Ardia. E/One Sewer Systems can go wherever septic systems were initially used, reclaiming water quality and quality of life while providing an efficient, cost-effective solution to wastewater disposal and treatment.

The Rocky Fork job is expected to be installed this year, according to Frank R. Leone of the engineering firm of Design Enterprise, Ltd. in Dayton, Ohio, with sales and support services being provided by R.C. Billiter & Associates of Milford, Ohio. E/ONE is encouraged as this job and other municipal projects move up to speed inside 1998 construction timelines.
