Model 3048P Duplex Lift Station

The Model 3048P is a complete unit that includes: two grinder pumps with check valves, polyethylene tank and controls.

The grinder pumps are mounted on a stainless steel rail lift-out system for easy removal. The ductile iron base/elbow assembly includes a stainless steel non-binding guide bracket to support pump removal. The tank includes a NEMA 4X junction box, standard, to allow connection of the pump and control wiring within the station.

The tank is made of tough corrosion-resistant polyethylene. Designed specifically for higher-flow applications where local codes dictate higher storage requirements, the Model 3048P has a tank capacity of 486 gallons, providing ample user storage. The lower portion of the tank has a smaller diameter tapered down to a dish-shaped bottom to aid with scouring. The large tank access opening easily accommodates installation of the grinder pumps and equipment.

Overload Capacity

The recessed impeller design allows 100 percent of the performance curve operation from shutoff to maximum flow without overloading the pump or system. The recessed vortex impeller is out of the passageway of flow, eliminating concerns of blockage or wear. Industry-leading service factor.
