The Model 3048P is a complete unit that includes: two grinder pumps with check valves, polyethylene tank and controls. The grinder pumps are mounted on a stainless steel rail lift-out system for easy removal. The ductile iron base/elbow assembly includes a stainless steel non-binding guide bracket to support pump removal. The tank includes a NEMA 4X junction box, standard, to allow connection of the pump and control wiring within the station. The tank is made of tough corrosion-resistant polyethylene. Designed specifically for higher-flow applications where local codes dictate higher storage requirements, the Model 3048P has a tank capacity of 486 gallons, providing ample user storage. The lower portion of the tank has a smaller diameter tapered down to a dish-shaped bottom to aid with scouring. The large tank access opening easily accommodates installation of the grinder pumps and equipment. |
