W-Series | WH101

The W-Series is E/One's most versatile grinder pump station — a range of basins, covers, discharges, inlets and panels are available. Grinder pumps pump wastewater from the home to the central sewer and/or treatment system through small-diameter pipes.

Featuring the new E/One Extreme grinder pump, the WH101 offers a new level of reliability and ruggedness.

Features

E/One's WH101 grinder pump station consists of a pump inside an open wetwell tank. The grinder pump, motor controls and level-sensing are integrated into a compact unit, easily removable for service.

Solids are ground into fine particles that pass easily through the pump, check valve and small-diameter pipe lines — even objects that are not normally found in sewage, such as plastic, rubber, fiber, wood, etc. The 1-1/4" discharge connection can be adapted to any piping materials that meet local code requirements.

The tank is made of tough corrosion-resistant HDPE. The optimum tank capacity of 100 gallons is based upon computer studies of water usage patterns. A single WH101 can accommodate the sewage flow from two single family homes or up to 700 gallons per day.

The internal check valve assembly, located in the grinder pump, is custom designed for non-clog, trouble-free operation.

The grinder pump is automatically activated. It runs infrequently for very short periods. The annual energy consumption is typically that of a 40-watt light bulb.

Units are designed to accommodate a wide range of depths; tank height can be adjusted in the field.

Inlet Connections
4" inlet grommet standard for DWV pipe. Other inlet configurations available from factory.

Discharge Connections
Pump discharge terminates in 1-1/4" NPT female thread. Can easily be adapted to 1-1/4" PVC pipe or any other material required by local codes.

Overload Capacity

Maximum pressure that the pump can generate is limited by motor characteristics to a value well below the rating of the piping and appurtenances. Automatic reset feature does not require manual operation following overload.
